19 Oct Namotu Paradise

Normal life doesn’t seem that interesting after returning from a week on Namotu Island in Fiji. I was luck enough to win the Ben Wilson “Kiter of the Future” award at the 2015 Merimbula Classic, so generously donated by Scott and Mandy from Namotu and of course Ben Wilson of Ben Wilson Kites.

Massive thanks to them for choosing me to be a part of the adventure this year.

The week went a little like this:

18 Guests on our own 5-star remote island,

16m water visibility.

Pumping surf from 3 – 6ft.

20 knots of wind for Kiting.

Fishing and Spearfishing.

Even Boga, a cross between drinking beer and yoga.

It was the perfect week!

A normal day on nomotu is supping, surfing, snorkelling before lunch then when the wind picks up, kiting till you can’t kite anymore. To fuel your day, the food is as good as you will get anywhere in the world, particularly if you have had a successful day spear fishing.

Don’t look any further if you are planning a supping or kiting holiday. Scott and Mandy will ensure it is the best holiday you will ever experience.
